DESCRIPTION:
Day 01: PUNO – UROS – AMANTANI
From 7:10 a.m. to 7:25 a.m. pick up from your respective hotels (downtown),
Bus station or Plaza de Armas for the transfer to the port of Puno where we will board
a motor boat that will take us first to the floating island of the Uros with a visit
of 1h 30m approx. To be able to appreciate their way of life and the demonstration of the construction
of its Islands and have free time to explore, take photos and take a short walk on the
typical raft of the Island. Later we continue our trip to the Island of Amantani arriving
approx. 12:00 pm, lunch and accommodation in the family home where they will spend the night,
sharing their experiences of their daily life, later in the afternoon they can
a walk to their Pre-Inka PACHATATA or PACHAMAMA ceremonial center. temples that are
used for the ritual of payment to the "PACHA MAMA" "mother earth". This island has a
population approx. 4000 inhabitants divided into 10 COMMUNITIES of Quechua and
Spanish and still preserve their ancient traditions, main activity is textiles and
agriculture, the island has a magnificent panoramic view of the sunset and is a place of energy
positive and meditation and at night, dinner and rest.
Day 02: AMANTANI- PUNO
After breakfast demonstration of the daily works of the family and exploration of the
island (free morning), lunch and then we meet up with the group to take our
boat return to the city of Puno, transfer to their respective hotels.
