The Colca Valley is located in the province of Caylloma, in the extreme northeast of the Department of Arequipa. The Colca Canyon is the second deepest canyon in the world, home to great biodiversity and imposing snow-capped mountains.

ITINERARY:

02:30 a.m. to 03:00 a.m. Pick up of the tourists from their respective hotels in our tourist transport, to transfer us to the Colca Canyon.

After approximately 3 hours of travel, we will have our first meeting with the town of Chivay, where we will pay the tourist ticket to enter the valley, in this town we will have breakfast and then we will go to observe the fabulous flight of the condors and the majesty of the canyon.

After boarding the transport, we will go to the district of Chivay, on the way we will visit the viewpoint of Anhuillque, where we can appreciate the Inca terraces of the valley and the Achachiwua lagoons.

Later we will have our arrival to the area called Mirador de Cruz del Condor, from where we can appreciate the depth of the canyon and the impressive Flight of the Condor. We will also observe the flora and fauna of the area.

Then we will return to the village of Maca, where we can see a colonial church and where we can also buy Colca handicrafts and try the Colca Sour, a cocktail made from the Sancayo fruit of a cactus in the valley. Then we will go to the Thermo-medicinal Baths of La Calera (optional) to relax the body in the waters containing minerals, and return to Chivay to have lunch at the agreed time.

Finally we will return to the city of Arequipa making the following stops: Viewpoint of the Andes, where we can appreciate the wildlife (vicuñas, birds and others) and we can also observe the South American camelids (llamas, alpacas and others). We will arrive to the city of Arequipa at approximately 05:00 p.m. This is how we will end this fascinating adventure in the Colca Valley.
