Salinas Lagoon - Half Day
The Salinas Lagoon is located within the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, in the department of Arequipa. It has an approximate expansion of 354 hectares, where you can see diverse nature in all directions typical of the area.

ITINERARY:

This is a Tour in comfortable mobility to the Salinas National Reserve, an ecosystem of international importance as it is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including native and migratory birds, South American camelids, a diverse high Andean flora and above all a spectacular view of the salt flats lagoon and the great mountains that surround it, such as the Ubinas volcano and the Pichu Pichu.

We head to the south east of the city, where we will have our first stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes, to observe the guardian volcanoes of the city of Arequipa as well as the pre-Inca terraces of Chiguata; traditional village.

Continuing, we will visit the traditional town of Chiguata. We will visit its main church, whose dedication belongs to the Holy Spirit; so we can also visit its main square.

We will make a short stop at the entrance of the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca. Here we will observe the Queñuas forest, where the Yareta is located; that was used as fuel in times of yore next to the Tola. Common flora of the high and desert areas of our country.

We will make a small visit to the Ojo de Agua Zimbral, where we will be able to appreciate the natural filtrations of this Ojo de agua.

We arrive at the beautiful Laguna de Salinas, making a small ascent to the Qaqa Wasi viewpoint, from where we can appreciate its majesty; In addition to being able to photograph the water mirrors and bird watching, as well as the llamas and vicuñas in the area.

Continuing our tour, we will visit the beautiful Salar de Chilitia, where we can take fun pictures and appreciate this natural phenomenon. Next, we will visit the thermal baths of the area at the foot of the Ubinas Volcano, province of Sanchez Cerro - Moquegua.

Finally, we will return to the historic center of the city, where we will arrive at approximately 2:00 pm.
